Hiring a chef is one of the largest challenges for managers in the hospitality sector. Finding a capable, experienced & hardworking chef for your hotel or restaurant can be exhausting. Despite the challenges, hiring the right chef is a vital component of your business’s success.

On any given day, this employee will do more than prepare food. A chef trains new hires, oversees cooking processes, creates menus and advises management of business needs. Also, the word “chef” means chief in French, so your next chef will lead all other kitchen staff members.

Three Q Medical Recruitment Agency turns 17

Three Q PERMS & TEMPS medical recruitment agency were delighted to reach the ripe old age of 17 in September this year. To celebrate the event, Cora and the team in Head Office finished out the day early to spend the afternoon in style at the Guinness Storehouse overlooking the vast city of Dublin.

Sipping his pint of Guinness or “Blonde in a Black Dress” as he affectionately calls it, Padraig Hogan had this to say about Three Q’s seventeen years in the recruitment industry:

“Being in the recruitment industry particularly for the past 17 years is a real achievement – not least because Ireland has seen so many changes. Through the recession agencies have been particularly relied upon for people who are in desperate need of jobs, whether in the medical profession or hospitality sector. Three Q is a great company to work for, I’ve been expanding my own skills here and I’ve learned so much. It really is a privilege to work for them.”

Having taken in the history and scenery of the beautiful Guinness building, the team went on to enjoy a family-style dinner in Yamamori Sushi on Bachelor’s walk. Senior Recruitment Consultant Conor Ryan, who is a great lover of sushi, had this to say of the evening;

“It’s such a nice dinner! It’s a little different but I like it. It’s lovely to be here as a team and we are all really enjoying ourselves. It’s so great to be able to enjoy each other’s company both out as well as inside of the office. The company are so kind to treat us to such a lovely day out.”

Full and happy, the group then moved on to Lott’s pub, just off Liffey St., where the festivities continued with a team pub quiz. All involved had a fabulous evening.
