Rigging Manager

Three Q Professional are currently recruiting for a Rigging Manager based in Dublin on behalf of our client an established utilities company.

Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the efficiency of the rigging teams through deadlines, inspections, training and coaching.
  • Ensure competent and adequate rigging resources are engaged to deliver the relevant programmes aims.
  • Identify issues, propose solutions and assign actions to ensure the agreed optimum efficiencies of the Build Department
  • Oversee and manage day to day rigging work schedule with the Rigging Administrator, resolve any ad hoc problems
  • Resourcing of necessary tools & equipment required to complete works
  • Ensure site activities are progressing in line with project plans, within agreed timescales, budget and quality SLA’s where specified.
  • Attendance at weekly Project Management meetings
  • To actively encourage safety awareness and best practice among all employees and subcontractors.
  • Review and approve invoices from contractors and subcontractors or suppliers within the set limits of authority.
  • Promote innovation and implementation of new ideas and best practise
  • Ensure rigging crews deliver to appropriate quality standards
  • Recruitment of resources to meet demand, ensuring quality and cost standards are considered
  • Develop and maintain good relations with existing customers through regular client facing meetings & customer feedback
  • Monitor costs against heads, e.g. subcontractors, materials, labour preliminaries
  • Achieve both internal and customer SLAs & KPIs
  • Monitoring of weekly timesheets
  • Performance Management of employees
  • Quality checks & rigging audits upon structures, ability to rig sites & project management of sites
  • Equipment checks
  • Rigging

Candidate Requirements:

Suitable candidates will have relevant and technical and engineering experience and will be experienced in all aspects of project management at senior level within the telecoms industry. As this is a project management role, candidates will need substantial financial and contract management skills along with excellent client facing and service supplier skills.

Candidates should also have an ability to lead a team, possess excellent organisational and communicational skills and be able to deal with unforeseen situations as they arise. Knowledge of safety legislation, policies and standards and excellent PC skills are essential.
